90 Day Fiance’s Mahmoud El-Sherbiny Update.
Mahmoud El-Sherbiny, 31, a star from 90 Day Fiancé, has shared a rare update following his arrest for domestic violence against his wife Nicole Sherbiny, 41.
Mahmoud was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 21, less than a month after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.
On Sunday, September 29, Mahmoud El Sherbiny posted a video clip in front of a city nightscape via Instagram stories and it remains uncertain whether Mahmoud is living in Los Angeles or if he has returned to his home in Egypt. Mahmoud’s voice is played throughout the footage saying: “Allah has a plan for you. You are exactly where he wants you to be. Don’t carry the anxieties for the future because it isn’t a lost power. Trust that Allah’s plan is the best plan. Do your part and leave the rest to Allah. Even when you don’t understand. Just keep trusting him.”
In Touch confirmed that Mahmoud El Sherbiny faced a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. However, months later, on July 28, it was confirmed that no charges would be filed against Mahmoud. “We rejected/declined to prosecute,” a representative from the L.A. City Attorney’s office said in a statement.
Mahmoud and Nicole made their reality TV debut on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which aired on TLC from January to May 2023. The couple met at a fabric shop in Egypt on the last day of Nicole spiritual tour. In episode of the TLC show from that period Nicole remembered: “I was shopping and there was this super cute boy, with these big brown eyes and these big sexy muscles. He said: ‘You should stay in Egypt and be my wife. He asked me if I really would marry him, so I said, ‘Yeah, of course, yeah.”
Nicole went back to America the following day but returned to Egypt three weeks later to marry Mahmoud in two secret ceremonies. The series followed Nicole’s struggles to adjust to life in Egypt and confessing her desire to return to California. After years of discussion, Mahmoud finally agreed to relocate to the United States. The couple continued to face challenges, often clashing over Nicole’s wardrobe choices, leading Mahmoud to tell her that he wanted a divorce. Their screen time was significantly less than other cast members, with their last appearance taking place in the middle of the season during episode 10.
Shaun Robinson, the longtime host of 90 Day Fiancé, has confirmed that Nicole and Mahmoud will not be part of the season’s tell-all special. The Emmy Award-winning journalist didn’t provide any details about couple absence but simply saying she “wished them the best.”
The present relationship status of Nicole and Mahmoud is unclear. The fashion designer Nicole has not yet addressed the situation regarding her estranged husband, only shared the news of her new clothing boutique opening in Los Angeles.
