LOUISVILLE (KY)–Governor Andy Beshear appointed Stites & Harbison PLLC attorney Ian Ramsey as the Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeway Commission.

The Kentucky legislature created the KBBC in 1992 in order to represent the interests and needs of Kentucky bicyclists. The KBBC provides advice to the Secretary of Transportation Cabinet regarding pedestrian and bicycleway programs. It also promotes bicycling’s interests to governing officials as well as the general public.

Ramsey is a member (partner) of Stites & Harbison PLLC, based in Louisville, Ky. He is affiliated with the Alexandria office and licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Tennessee. He is a product liability trial attorney and a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator. He has extensive experience in investigating and defending lawsuits arising out of fires and explosions. He also acts as an outside general counsel, overseeing and directly dealing with commercial disputes, transactional negotiations, and many other legal issues.

Clydesdale Athletics Club was founded by Bill Serad and Greg Strafer in 2013. It is a cycling club that raises funds for the Norton Cancer Institute (NCI) and Norton Children’s Cancer Institute (NCCI). Since its inception, CAC has supported Norton’s annual Bike To Beat Cancer fundraising campaign. CAC’s 50+ members have raised more than $400,000 since its inception.
