On November 10, 2022, the Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection met to interview six candidates to be referred to Governor Sisolak to fill the judicial vacancy at Nevada Supreme Court Seat F. Justice Abbi Silber retired in September 2022. The Commission received the following applications:

Six applicants applied for the job. Applicants must have at least 15 years of experience in Nevada law and a minimum of two years Nevada residency to be eligible for the position.

Governor Sisolak still has time to choose from the three names listed by the commission until December 12, 2022. The term for Seat F expires January 6, 2025, and the appointed justice will fill in the remaining term. The appointed justice must file as a candidate for the November 2024 general elections in order to serve an additional term as justice of Seat F.
