AILWhat can you do at Anthem Injury Lawyers
I am a Case Manager. I support clients through their cases. I make sure they get the right treatment and provide updates during each phase of their case.
AIL How long have you been working with Anthem Injury Lawyers.
AM:I’m coming up on seven more months next month.
AIL Have you been in the legal profession for a while?
AM: I have yes. This is my first job in case management so I was very excited.
AIL Have you only been involved in personal injury?
AM:I believe so, but personal injury is something I’m more familiar with. Although I have worked in a trial law office before, personal injury is the one I am most familiar with.
AIL What’s your favorite part about working for Anthem Injury Lawyers
I am I get to work with an amazing team. Everybody here is willing to answer my questions and help me. It is a great place to be. The people are all very helpful, and I don’t feel shy asking questions.
AIL What brought you to this profession?
AM: My mom. She was a lawyer for many years, and I have always considered her an inspiration. I felt like she was preparing my for the future by teaching me so many things over the years.
AILDoes mom live in Las Vegas and work there?
AM:She does. When I was younger, Take Your Kid to Work Day was my favorite day because I was most interested in learning.
AIL What’s the most surprising thing about Anthem Injury Lawyers’ work?
AM: I love the way they encourage you to develop with the company. I was a legal assistant when I first joined the company. I quickly rose to the position of Case Manager.
AIL What’s an accomplishment in work that you are really proud of?
AM : Being promoted to Case Manager was an incredible accomplishment.
AIL When did this happen?
AM It took place around the start of August.
AIL How is the role of a Case Manager different to that of a Legal Assistant.
AM: I get to work with clients a lot more closely. Because I had worked with clients in pain and suffering, I felt comfortable letting them know that I would be handling some cases.
Fur Babies
AIL How do you like to start your day off?
AM:Jamming in my car while I commute to work after having my coffee. My weekend rituals include snuggling with my furbabies or going for morning walks around my neighborhood.
AIL How many fur babies are you a parent to and what is their name?
AM:I’ve got two. Koa is a Golden Retriever who is two years old. Sarabi, an eight-year old Chihuahua/Chihua mix, is also my pet. I am a huge Lion King fan.
AIL What motivates you at work?
AM:Music, Red Bulls. The best is the tropical one.
AIL What’s your favorite memory from the past year?
AM :Unfortunately we found out that Koa, one of our dogs, had been diagnosed with cancer. Although he was told he wouldn’t make it to his second anniversary, he is our little fighter. We celebrated his birthday by taking him to see the ocean for the first time. That was a moment I will never forget. We went to Laguna Beach.
AIL I’m sorry, it’s so difficult.
AM :Yeah. But the memory is there. We were so happy to be able take him. That’s one of the most precious memories we will have with him for ever. He loved the experience of touching the sand and being on a beach for the first time.
AIL What’s your favorite way of unwinding after a long day?
AM Definitely going home to relax. My boyfriend and my dogs, watching TV or whatever.
AIL Do you have any top shows you’re currently watching?
AM : We’re actually into Suits at the moment which is hilarious because it’s all law and lawyers.
AIL What three words would you use to describe yourself?
AM Funny, kind, and honest
AIL What would you most likely be doing on the weekend?
AM: Spending time with my furbabies or trying new recipes. I love to cook. It is my favorite recipe so far, Tuscan Shrimp Pasta.
