NASHVILLE (TN)–Polsinelli, a member of the Am Law 100, has appointed Albert “Bert” W. Stemmler to the Business Department’s Investment Funds Practice Group. He will be joining the group’s Investment Funds Practice Group, Joint Ventures & Alternative Investment Strategies. Stemmler, a business attorney with more than 15 year’s experience in the fields of investment funds, alternative investments, and startup ecosystems, has worked both in-house as well as in private practice.
Stemmler was Head of Legal and Compliance for a VC Fund Manager and the operator of an Accelerator for early-stage crypto/digital asset companies before joining Polsinelli. Before his in-house position, Stemmler was a partner at a private firm focusing on regulatory compliance and fund formation in the investment funds sector.
