LOS ANGELES (CA)–Crosbie Gliner, Schiffman, Southard & Swenson LLP, a Southern California commercial real estate law company, has announced the addition of Alison Pappas as its newest member. Pappas, who was previously the managing director and the general counsel of the EMMES Group of Companies – a privately owned and hands-on real-estate investor-operator – joins CGS3’s complex transaction practice group. She will be based at the firm’s Los Angeles offices.
CGS3 founder partner Sean Southard said that Pappas was a significant addition to CGS3’s growing team. Alison is a talented lawyer with extensive experience in complex leasing, purchase and sale transactions. She will immediately add value to our clientele and enhance our ability to deliver an experience defined by completing complex transactions on time and on budget, with the best-in class quality that CGS3 is known for.
Pappas has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions including leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. She specializes complex leasing for office, life sciences, retail, and mixed-use properties. Pappas led the leasing efforts of EMMES’ national office portfolio and supervised all compliance and legal functions.
She was the general counsel at EVOQ Properties before joining EMMES. At Paul Hastings, she practiced real estate law and represented clients in a wide range of corporate and real estate transactions.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of California Los Angeles, and a J.D. She earned her J.D. from Loyola School of Law, Los Angeles.
