He has been a trial expert in numerous cases.

Salmons also offers career counseling in addition to consulting.

AALM When did you start working as a career consultant?

RS My career began as a vocational rehab counselor for the State of Florida. Later, I moved to a similar role with a private rehabilitation company. I was required to give expert testimony in court regarding the work potential of a person after an injury.

As a private vocational rehabilitation practitioner, my primary role has been to provide forensic expert services. In addition to determining a spouse’s earning capacity, I also work in the area of family law. This includes interviews, employment research and earning projections.

What is the most satisfying aspect of your job?

RS I have seen people in emotional and physically distress due to pain and dysfunction. Most people spend more time at work than doing anything else, including sleeping. My contribution to stabilizing someone’s wellbeing is a rewarding and worthwhile process. I have aligned myself with a peer-review standard method to determine earning capacity. I will personally speak to attorneys who are interested in my experience for a free overview of possible cases.
