MinterEllison assisted CIMIC Group subsidiary Pacific Partnerships in its acquisition of development rights for 300MWdc Hopeland Solar Farm located in Queensland, Australia. The rights were acquired from Renewable Energy Partners in Brisbane, a developer for renewable projects.
Hopeland Solar Farm is expected to play a major role in Queensland’s energy transformation. Once the site is developed, it will be able to produce enough electricity to power 100,000 homes of average size in the entire region.
