The Nevada Supreme Court received an August 17th, 2022 petition asking for the court to amend the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure in order to add a rule regarding placement of dependent children into a qualified residential treatment program.
A court order was issued in on Sept. 27, 2022. It adopted the new rule as Rule 27. Rule 27 shall be effective from Nov. 1, 2022 to expire Jan. 1, 2024 or the date of any superseding legislation.
