NEW ORLEANS, LA-McGlinchey Stafford proudly announces that Vault has ranked the firm on its 2023 Best Law Firms List for Women. Numerous AmLaw 100- and 200 firms are also included on the list.
McGlinchey is dedicated to equity through diversity, inclusion and inclusion within the firm and the profession via various internal and external DE&I programs. The firm was among 70 law firms that participated in the second iteration the Midsize Mansfield Rule. This rule sets strict standards for diversity in leadership and leadership.
McGlinchey is proud of its involvement in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity since its founding in 2009. McGlinchey is a recipient for 2022 of LCLD’s highest honor, The Compass Award. In addition, McGlinchey has been named a “Top performer” every year since 2018, a designation reserved only for active LCLD member companies and law firms.
McGlinchey launched the Uplift McGlinchey Women’s Initiative within the firm in 2021. McGlinchey’s women lawyers want to create an affinity group to support, encourage, empower and advocate for one another in their work. Today, half of the 17 office Managing Members and 40% of the executive Policy Committee members are women.
