Christine Brown Reveals She Was ‘Never’ as in Love With Kody as She Is With David Woolley.
Christine Brown from Sister Wives has openly shared that her feelings for her current husband, David Woolley, far surpass those she had for her ex, Kody Brown. In the episode aired on Sunday, November 17, she made it clear just how much more in love she is with David, contrasting it with her past relationship.
The episode showcased David, 60, proposing to Christine, 52, back in April 2023. Christine expressed her feelings, saying, “I’ve never felt like this before. Never been this much in love either.” Although she was married to Kody, 55, for nearly three decades before their separation in 2021, she emphasized, “I never loved Kody as much as I love David. Was never in love with Kody like I’m in love with David. Never.”

Christine and David tied the knot in October 2023, just under a year after they began dating. Their romance has been featured in season 19 of Sister Wives, capturing the excitement of their relationship. In the November 10 episode, Christine and David were seen house hunting in Utah, even though they had only been dating for a few months. Christine shared her desire to live together, stating, “David and I live apart and I’m done with that. So we’re going to live together and we’re going to go house shopping. We’re looking at houses and we’re moving in together, like, permanently buying a house, not just renting.”
David reassured her that he wasn’t worried about the pace of their relationship. He told Christine, “I knew on our second date that you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. My dad met my mom, and then seven days later, he asked her to marry. So I think that’s fast. I think we’re slow at our rate.”
Christine shared her thoughts, saying, “It might seem quick, but it really flows well for us. We found a rhythm that felt faster and slower than what others experience. It was uniquely ours.”

The episode also captured Kody and David’s initial meeting. In a later interview, Christine revealed that there was “a lot of stress” before that moment. However, David expressed to Entertainment Tonight, “I’m just myself, and if people don’t like it, that’s on them. We’ve filmed a bit together, and it was fine. I don’t feel nervous at all. I’m not intimidated by anyone, and it doesn’t faze me.” Christine was the first of Kody’s wives to leave the polygamous family and end her spiritual marriage to him.
Janelle Brown followed in 2022, and Meri Brown made her exit at the start of 2023. Currently, Robyn Brown is Kody’s only remaining wife, and they have been legally married since 2014. This week’s episode of Sister Wives also showed Meri, 53, telling Kody and Robyn, 46, that she plans to leave Arizona and move to Utah after having split her time between the two states.
