President Donald Trump began his first week in office by signing a multitude of Executive Orders “Orders,” some of which impact federal environmental laws or policies. Here is a partial list of the laws affected by the Orders:

  1. Declare a National Energy Emergency
  1. Offshore Drilling
  1. Repeal of Tailpipe Pollution Regulations
  1. Rollback Energy Efficiency Regulations
  1. Open the Alaska wilderness to more oil and gas drilling.
  2. Restart reviews of new export terminals for liquefied natural gas (“LNG”).
  1. Offshore Wind Farms
  1. Eliminate Environmental Justice Programs
  1. PFAS Rule No Longer Listed as Under Review
  1. The Review of Energy-Related Regulations and Rules
  1. Paris Agreement Withdrawal
  1. Greenhouse Gas Working Group Disbanded
  1. Federal Hiring Freeze
