As an Associate, Brad Barback joined McGlinchey as of 2020. He is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer, who focuses on complex commercial litigation matters at all levels of the court system, including the federal, state and appellate. This includes cases involving construction and insurance. Brad was an industrial contractor’s former employee and served two years as the Chair of Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Construction Section. He holds a J.D. He also holds a D.C.L. Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and a B.S. Louisiana State University offers a degree in International Trade and Finance.
Kerry Ann Cummings joined McGlinchey in 2014 as an associate in the Financial Services Litigation group. She has extensive experience representing clients in litigation matters regarding mortgage foreclosures, creditors rights, real-estate transactions, and title issues. In 2021, she was selected to the Best Lawyers in America (r): Ones to Watch in Commercial Litigation and Financial Services Regulation Law. Kerry received a J.D. Kerry graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and with a J.D. University of Florida. Kerry has been admitted to the Florida bar.
Kathryn “Kasey” Davis joined McGlinchey as an Associate in its Financial Services Litigation group in 2021. She is licensed in Oklahoma and Texas. She is primarily involved in consumer defense and single-plaintiff financial services litigation. She has extensive experience representing lenders in bankruptcy proceedings and complex commercial litigation cases. She holds a J.D. She received a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, and a B.S. Vanderbilt University, where she was awarded magna cum laude.
Stefanie L. Deka represents clients in single-party or class action consumer financial service litigation, contested bankruptcy matters and defense of lawsuits alleging violations state and federal consumer statutes, common law claims, state court appeals as well as residential foreclosure cases. As an Associate, Stefanie joined McGlinchey’s Financial Services Litigation group in 2016. She holds a J.D. She received a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, and a B.A. Baldwin Wallace College, where she received cum laude. Stefanie briefly left McGlinchey to work in the public service but eventually returned to McGlinchey. Stefanie is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
