Rutas del Este, a Paraguyan contractor that was formed as part of the country’s first 30-year-old public-private consortium has been awarded this loan to help finance additional work on Route PY02. The loan was provided under the Public-Private Partnership Contract to construct Routes 2 and 7, the first PPP Project of Paraguay. The operation was closed on September 6.
Rutas Del Este and the Ministry of Public Works and Communications reached a mutually agreed upon project. These new works will be connected to the NVI and provide continuity to Itacurubu de la Cordillera which is located 88 km from Asuncion, Paraguay’s capital.
