James (Jim) Ickes is now Brouse McDowell’s Akron Counsel. He is an experienced lawyer who focuses his practice on civil litigation. He has over 20 years experience in both federal and state courts, in areas such as business litigation and high-conflict divorce. Jim is also a HCISPP (Health Care Information Security & Privacy Practitioner) who creates HIPAA compliance programs to his clients in both the medical cannabis and health care industries. Jim graduated from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Joel Holt is now the Counsel at Brouse McDowell’s Akron location. He is a highly skilled and experienced attorney who focuses his practice in business law, civil litigation and cannabis/hemp law. His legal expertise includes civil and commercial litigation, appellate advocacy and corporate formation and governance. He also has copyright and trademark experience. Joel is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law.
