The combined firm’s stable will include more than 3,950 attorneys and 800 partners in 48 offices around the world, as well as approximately $3.5 billion of joint revenues. The combined firm will have a talent pool that is equally proficient in US and English laws, as well as a broad understanding of global markets.
Over 99% of all the partners of both firms voted for the merger. The firms announced that they would now begin a period active integration planning as they work towards the final closure of the transaction. This is expected to occur in or before may 2024.
