The strategic partnership comprises:
- Alpha Bank retains a 9.9% share in the new bank created by merging Romanian subsidiaries.
- UniCredit will establish a framework for commercial partnerships in Greece, to distribute its asset management products and unit-linked products. A joint venture on pension-saving products is also being created with UniCredit as a 51% owner of AlphaLife.
- UniCredit acquired from the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund all of the Alpha Services and Holdings shares held by HFSF, i.e. a stake amounting to 8,9781%.
