FORT WORTH (TX)–Varghese Summersett’s Anna Summersett has been recognized as a Forty Under Forty honoree by the Fort Worth Business Press. This is an annual list which recognizes 40 honorees under 40 years of age who help shape Fort Worth’s future with their professional achievements and community involvement.

Summersett, along with the other award winners, were recognized on Wednesday 21st June during a ceremony held at the Fort Worth Zoo. She will be featured in a future edition of Fort Worth Business Press.

Summersett stated that it was an honor to be selected with such extraordinary men and woman. We represent different sectors in the Fort Worth Business Community, but we all share the goal of creating a positive change in our city. I am inspired by everyone’s collective efforts to make Fort Worth an exciting and vibrant city.

Fort Worth Business Press reports that the Forty Under Forty award was first given in 1994 to recognize emerging leaders who were under 40 years old for their achievements in business, life, and their contributions to Tarrant County. Many of the awardees over the years have become some of the most influential, accomplished and recognized citizens in the Tarrant County area.

Summersett was selected as a Forty Under Forty Honoree because of her dedication to excellence. She has achieved success in all areas of her life, from being one of Texas’ youngest criminal attorneys to co-owning a fast-growing North Texas law firm.

Summersett and Benson Varghese left their jobs at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office in 2014 to launch Varghese Summersett. The firm has expanded its services into personal injury and family law. The firm was named as one of the fastest growing businesses in the U.S., by Inc. 5000 Magazine; a top company to work for by Fort Worth Inc.; and recognized by the City of Fort Worth as a great place for working parents.

Summersett was also named as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of Excellence Award, Top Attorney and Super Lawyer Rising Star. She is heavily involved in the community and has served in many legal and community groups. Summersett, a successful lawyer, philanthropist, and businesswoman is also a loving wife and mother of three young boys.

Benson Varghese and Anna Varghese’s husband, the managing partner and wife of this firm, said: “I am incredibly proud of Anna Varghese’s achievements, both personally and professionally.” She has played a key role in developing the firm’s culture, which is central to our success as well as that of our clients. We are grateful for her contributions to the firm, and for this recognition. “I honestly don’t understand how she manages to do it all.”
