CHATTANOOGA (TN)–Stephen G. Kabalka is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in transportation, logistics and manufacturing. He has been appointed as Baker Donelson’s Chattanooga counsel.

Mr. Kabalka offers strategic advice regarding legal issues related to commercial transactions, customer, vendor, supply contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other business matters. His expertise includes high-value transport, logistics, transportation brokerage and sales, distribution, supply. Warehousing, sales, procurement, warehousing and information technology.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson Mr. Kabalka spent more than 14 years in-house corporate counsel at various companies in the transportation, manufacturing, and logistics industries. He was most recently the senior director and legal counsel at a global cargo transportation and logistics company where he managed and supervised the North American commercial contract department. He also handled a wide range of legal, regulatory and compliance issues and commercial business disputes. In-house counsel roles include being corporate counsel at a national transportation, logistics and warehousing service provider; division associate counsel at an industry leader in bleach and chlorakali products; and associate general counsel to one of the largest trucking firms in the United States. Before assuming his in-house role, Mr. Kabalka was an experienced litigator and appellate lawyer with more than a decade.

He is a cum-laude graduate of University of Tennessee College of Law. There he was Executive Editor of Tennessee Law Review. He is a member the Transportation Lawyers Association and American Bar Association.
