ATLANTA, GA -Kamron Masumi has joined Baker Donelson to be of counsel in the Firm’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on the development, leasing, acquisition, disposition and management of mixed-use and retail real estate developments throughout the U.S.

Massumi is an expert in commercial real estate development and leasing. He has represented tenants and landlords in lease negotiations as well as buyers or sellers of commercial property. Massumi also assists shopping center owners in the negotiation of service, construction and other management-related agreements. He has advised property owners regarding termination and renewal rights, letters credit, personal guarantees, landlord commitments, and the possibility of custom-built outs for tenant premises. In addition to retail and mixed-use developments, he has experience with a broad array of real estate asset classes, including industrial, warehouse/distribution, medical, and office.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Massumi was in-house counsel to major mixed-use developers in New York and Houston. He also negotiated and drafted more than 150 commercial leases on behalf of the largest private landowner in Lower Manhattan.

Massumi earned his law degree at the University of Texas School of Law, and his undergraduate cum laude degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
