MEMPHIS (TN)–Baker Donelson was named to Seramount’s prestigious “Best Law firms for Women & Diversity” list, which recognizes the top 50 law firms who use best practices when recruiting, retaining and promoting women lawyers, as well as lawyers from underrepresented backgrounds, such people of color.
The list of highlights for this year, which can be found here, includes an increase in the number of women lawyers, women promoted to equity partners, and law firms that offer backup childcare.
Baker Donelson’s Women’s Initiative continues to develop key initiatives and resources to support working mothers and women, including a Family Planning & Support Committee. Other programs include Women to Leadership, Women to Equity, Breastmilk Shipment Reimbursement, and a newly-formed committee to help lawyers find balance and enjoyment in their careers.
