Broadhurst is managed and owned by New Century Holdings Capital (NCH Capital), an American-based investment company founded in 1993. It focuses on CEE investments. Broadhurst has owned and developed Vel Pitar over the past 20 years. Vel Pitar is active in the Romanian bakery sector and cereals industry. It supplies goods daily from its 10 national factories to more than 7,000 stores.
Bimbo, a Mexican-based international bakery company with approximately 140,000 employees, is located in Mexico. In 2021, the group earned $17.1 billion.
Broadhurst was assisted by Sorin David, D&B David si Baias managing partners. He also helped with aspects related to closing the sale.
