The Eighth Judicial District Court published Administrative Order (AO 23-01) on January 31, 2023. This reassigns cases in civil, criminal and family courts.
The order is:
- All appeals pertaining to “summary expulsion” pursuant to NRS40.380 that are currently assigned to Department 19 will be reassigned at Department 14.
- The Veterans’ Treatment Court has been re-assigned from Department 30 to Department 23.
- Gambling Treatment Court is being reassigned from Department 7 to Department 9.
- The juvenile delinquency caseload of Department L shall be transferred to Department M.
- Department M’s civil domestic caseload will be transferred to Department O.
- Department O’s dependency caseload (including Family Treatment Court and Mental Health Court) will be reassigned at Department L.
