Fisker GmbH, located in Graz, is a subsidiary of the Fisker Group, which is currently undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the United States. Fisker GmbH was responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of Fisker’s electric vehicles.
The insolvency of Fisker GmbH is one of the largest in Austrian history, with alleged claims against the company exceeding EUR 3.78 billion. The insolvency court approved Fisker GmbH’s restructuring plan on September 16, 2024. No appeals were filed and the proceedings formally ended on October 10, 2024.
