2020 was a year like no other. The COVID-19 pandemic impacted every aspect of our lives, from where we travel to how long we spend in our cars, and tragically, many thousands have died as a result.

Clio.com reports that personal injury lawyers were particularly affected by the COVID-19 crises, in terms of their bottom lines. Clio.com reported that law firms experienced a decrease in new cases of around 30% in mid-April across all practice areas. However, its data shows that firms have been bringing in more new cases since September. Personal injury lawyers saw their new matter intake drop by nearly 50% in mid-April. However, personal injury firms still see a drop-off of around 20%.
