ATLANTA, GA – King & Spalding today announced that Gibbs Fryer, a real estate and private funds lawyer, has joined the firm as a partner within its Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group. He is located in the Atlanta office.

Fryer will provide advice to institutional investors and private equity sponsors on real-estate capital markets transactions. He will be focusing on joint ventures and real estate fund formation.

After co-founding Evergreen Medical Properties and serving as its principal, Fryer returns to the firm. This real estate investment company invests in healthcare facilities throughout the U.S. and Iron Tree Capital Partners. Fryer is also a principal at Iron Tree Capital Partners. After joining King & Spalding in 2014 as an associate, he was promoted to partner in 2018, and then joined Evergreen and Iron Tree.

Fryer received his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, and his law degree at the University of Virginia School of Law.
