MIAMI (FL)–The International Association of Defense Counsel has announced that Kelly-Ann Cartwright has accepted an invitation from the IADC. The IADC is the leading invitation-only global legal association for lawyers who represent insurance and corporate interests.

Ms. Cartwright’s practice focuses on representing employers in federal, state, and local administrative tribunals, as well as before state and federal courts on matters arising from federal, state, and local anti-discrimination and employment-related laws. She offers advice and counsel to employers on all aspects of employment, including employment contracts and restrictive covenants agreements, termination agreements, employee handbooks, policies and compliance with labor and employment laws. She also handles restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, which includes bringing preliminary injunctions to court in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Cartwright is the chair of Holland & Knight’s Directors Committee. She also serves on the board for the YWCA South Florida.

Ms. Cartwright earned her J.D. Ms. Cartwright received her J.D. (with distinction) from University of Florida Levin College of Law, and her Bachelor of Science (with high honours) in Business Administration from University of Florida.
