NASHVILLE (TN)–Nationwide employment law company Jackson Lewis P.C. We are pleased to announce that Jonathan O. Harris has been appointed principal of the Nashville office. Jon O. Harris joins the firm as a principal from Ogletree Deakins. He has almost 20 years experience in employment and labor law matters.

Jon represents managers in many employment-related matters. He is able to defend single-plaintiff cases, but he can also represent employers in collective and class actions. Jon has handled numerous Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), charges and defended employers in suits brought by the EEOC. This includes matters in which the agency asserted systemic claims for multiple claimants.

Jon has had many successes in both federal and state courts over the course of his career. He speaks frequently on all aspects of employment and consults with clients to develop preventive strategies to avoid discrimination and retaliation.

Jon received his J.D. His J.D. and B.A. degrees were earned at the Washington University School of Law. Vanderbilt University.
