MIAMI FL–Sidley announces that Joshua M. Samek is now a partner with the firm in Miami’s M&A and Private Equity global practice groups. He comes to Sidley after working at DLA Piper as co-chair of the Florida Corporate Practice. Bradley Brodie, a Miami-based counsel will join Sidley.
Mr. Samek concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets, financing, general corporate, and securities issues, with an emphasis on healthcare, technology, life sciences, and other sectors. He has a national mergers and acquisitions law practice, representing private equity funds, their portfolio companies, as well as public companies and founders.
