The Las Vegas Township Justice Court filed administrative order (AO) 22–07 on August 26, 2022. This replaces AO 15-03. It assigns cases involving driving under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances, and vehicular crimes that result in death or substantial bodily injury to one department.
This department will automatically be assigned cases in which defendants are charged for the following offenses:
- All DUIs (misdemeanor and felony).
- Vehicular Homicide
- Homicide by Vessel
- Reckless driving can cause death or substantial bodily harm
- Bodily injury or death can be caused by leaving the scene/duty to stop at the accident scene
- Vehicular murder
