On Oct. 21, 2024, the Las Vegas Township Justice Court issued Administrative Order (AO) 24-05, which rescinds and replaces AO 23-04 regarding the procedures for assigning criminal cases in which the alleged offense was committed within a defined “Resort Corridor.”
Starting on or after Nov. 1, 2024, such cases will be randomly assigned to one of the Criminal departments of the Las Vegas Justice Court, instead of to one of two designated Resort Corridor courts. Any cases previously assigned to a Resort Corridor Court will remain in that assigned department, unless otherwise ordered.
