HONOLULU HI–Littler is the largest labor and employment law firm in the world. Wayne S. Yoshigai has been added as a shareholder. Yoshigai (who comes from Jackson Lewis) will head the Honolulu office. Judy Iriye, a shareholder at Littler, will join her. She divides her practice between California, Hawaii, and California.
Yoshigai has been practicing labor and employment law in Hawaii his entire career. He provides advice to clients on complex and everyday issues in the employer-employee relationship. Numerous national and Hawaiian employers have been represented by Yoshigai in administrative and judicial proceedings before state and federal courts. He also represents them in arbitrations, mediations, and arbitrations in non-union and union settings. Yoshigai offers training in various workplace issues, as well as counsels employers regarding matters such leave of absence, disability accommodation, labor relations and wage and hour compliance.
Yoshigai earned his J.D. George Washington University School of Law, and his B.A. cum laude, Claremont McKenna College.
