NASHVILLE (TN)–Littler is proud to announce that Joycelyn Stephenson has been appointed as the office managing shareholder in Nashville.
Stevenson was most recently the executive director of Tennessee Bar Association (TBA). She worked at Littler from 2013 to 2017. Bradley Strawn has been in charge of the Nashville office as well as the Atlanta office. Stevenson will continue to be the Atlanta office managing shareholder.
Stevenson was the TBA’s executive Director. She focused her efforts on how to best serve the more than 12,000 members, governors, and Tennessee Legal Community Foundation. She led the association through significant changes, including the sale and rebranding of its downtown headquarters and major improvements to its operations.
Stevenson joined the TBA as a shareholder of Littler, where she represented employers in arbitration and litigation. She also conducted strategic risk assessments of business decisions regarding human resource management. She conducted workplace investigations at high levels and provided training for clients about anti-discrimination laws, respect in the workplace, and other topics.
Stevenson is currently Vice Chair of Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. She also served as President Elect of National Association of Bar Executives. She was a past president both of the Nashville Bar Association as well as the Lawyers Association for Women- Marion Griffin Chapter. Stevenson earned her J.D. Her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, and her B.A. Howard University
