Margaret is a student researcher in legal research at the Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice at U.C. Berkeley School of Law. She is a rising second-year law student at Boston University School of Law. Margaret received a MSc. Margaret earned a MSc in Global Health and Development, where her thesis focused on the effects of criminalizing abortion. Her main interests are in reproductive rights and justice as well as international human rights. Margaret interned at Ibis Reproductive Health. Margaret did research during her senior year at Smith College on the bioethics and ethics of egg donation among college-aged women in the United States. Margaret conducted needs assessment research with Tibetan university students in India as part of a Smith College team to help develop a university-wide health education program. The team’s research was published in the February 2013 supplement of The Journal of Adolescent Health.

Margaret received her B.A. Her B.A. in Anthropology was earned at Smith College, and her MSc. She is a graduate of University College London in Global Health and Development. She plans to obtain her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
