NEW ORLEANS (LA–McGlinchey) is happy to announce that the firm’s Enterprise Litigation and Investigations group has been expanded by associate Morgan Kelley and admiralty and maritime members (Partners), Marcelle Mouledoux and Kevin Frey.
Before joining McGlinchey in 2005, Marcelle, Kevin and Morgan worked with Salley Hite Merer & Resor in New Orleans.
Marcelle’s practice focuses on maritime and admiralty, as well as professional liability. Since almost twenty years, she has represented vessel and facility owners in collisions, allision, personal injury, and property damage cases. She also provides coverage opinions and represents insurers in direct and declaratory actions.
Kevin has a decade of experience in legal practice. His clients include tugboat owners, marine facilities and grain, barge fleeting and midstream buoy terminals.
Morgan has extensive experience in supporting maritime clients, from trial through litigation. Morgan has a number of summary judgments and large-scale negotiation awards to her name. She also advises clients on transactions, contracts and other special topics, such as hurricane preparedness.
Marcelle received her JD in 2004 from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Dallas.
Kevin moved to Louisiana to study at Tulane University Law School in 2010. He earned his JD magna cum Laude in 2013. Kevin served as the Chairperson of the Moot Court Boards Committee of the Judicial Council for his third year while in law school.
Morgan graduated in 2018 from Tulane University Law School with a Maritime Law Certificate. Morgan completed a clerkship at the Admiralty & Aviation Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, Washington. She was awarded the Best Comments & Comment Editor award for her work with Tulane Maritime Law Journal.
