BATON ROUGE (LA)–McGlinchey-Stafford is proud to announce that Courtney T. Joiner, a litigator and member of the firm’s Labor and Employment group in Baton Rouge has been appointed a partner. Courtney Joiner is the 11th attorney in total to join McGlinchey in just May, and the 13th in Louisiana over the last year.
Courtney practices labor and employment law, education law and civil litigation. He has been involved in a number of important cases, including one that required the Louisiana Supreme Court clarify the scope and application of immunity laws for school employees. He also served as a special counsel for the State of Louisiana and the City of Monroe.
