The Nevada Supreme Court published an order on December 13, 2023 in AdKT 0445 to amend Nevada Rule of Professional Conduct 1.8(e), prohibiting lawyers from providing financial assistance to clients for litigation that is pending or anticipated, with some exceptions. Exhibit A contains the amendments that address exceptions for attorneys who represent indigent clients pro bono. They become effective on January 12, 2024.
