RALEIGH (NC)–Patti Ramseur, of Greensboro, has been appointed as the 129th President of the North Carolina Bar Association. The swearing in ceremony was held on Friday, 23 June at the NCBA annual meeting in Wilmington. Ramseur also will serve as the president of North Carolina Bar Foundation in 2023-24.
Ramseur began her private practice with Haynsworth Baldwin Johnson & Greaves in 2000. She joined Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP in 2003 and remained as a partner when the firm merged with Fox Rothschild LLP. In 2020, she joined Alex Maultsby to form the employment law firm Ramseur Maultsby LLP. She focuses her practice in employment litigation and counseling.
