BOSTON (MA)–On the 21st of October, Richard L. Sampson competed at Boston’s 59th Annual Head Of The Charles Regatta. Sampson, representing the HOCR’s host organization Cambridge Boat Club, placed third in the Men’s Grand Master Fours category (60+). His team’s time was 17:54.347.
Sampson is a former HOCR competitor and has served in several roles with the race organisation since 1999. These positions range from a board member to the managing director. He is currently co-chairman of the HOCR Course Committee. This committee is responsible for establishing and removing the race course.
