SAVANNAH, GA – Oliver Maner LLP, Savannah’s most prestigious law firm, has named I. William Drought, Jr. as a Partner. Drought is a civil litigator, focusing on personal injury, business disputes and general litigation.

Drought joined Oliver Maner as an Associate in 2015. Drought is a member of both the Savannah Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the Savannah Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. He is licensed to practice in all Georgia state appellate and trial courts as well as all U.S. District Courts of Georgia.

Drought graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), in 2012, with summa laude honors. Drought completed his J.D. studies. He received his J.D. from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2015. Drought served as the managing editor of the 2013-15 Mercer Law Review while he was in law school. Drought was also a member on the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity’s Alumni and Bar Committee of Mercer’s Student Bar Association Alumni and Bar Committee. Drought interned for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia Chief judge, the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell, during his third year of law school. He was also a member of the Bibb County Superior court for the Honorable Edgar W. Ennis, Jr.
