LONDON (UK)–Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ), today announced Dan Roman’s addition to the London office as a partner and a member the Tax Group.
Dan brings extensive financial and legal experience to SRZ. This includes designing and managing fund structures, as well as advising on cross-border asset and management issues.
As a partner at Deloitte, KPMG and as a member of Ernst & Young, he dealt with tax issues relating more broadly to investment management and hedge funds. Most recently, he was the Group Head of Finance and CFO for an energy insurance startup that was backed by sovereign wealth funds.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Law degree from King’s College, Cambridge University. He also attended the Inns of Court School of Law before qualifying as a barrister. He also has an MBA from European Institute of Business Administration.
