NATIONAL-Littler is the largest labor and employment law firm in the world, representing management. It has appointed three new managing shareholders (OMS), for its offices in Birmingham, Cleveland, and Fresno as of January 1, 2023.

Jay St. Clair is succeeded by Charles Powell in Birmingham, Bonnie Kristan is succeeded in Cleveland by Ryan Morley, and Gary Bethel’s job is done in Fresno by Ryan Eddings. All outgoing OMSs will keep their active legal practices and other firm responsibilities.

Charles Powell has been representing employers in the Southeast for more than three decades against discrimination, harassment, non-competition and wage and hours litigation suits. His track record is strong in defending employers against various wage and hour claims. Powell also offers advice on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws for a variety of employers, from small businesses to large corporations. Powell received his J.D. His M.P.A. was earned at the University of Alabama School of Law. His B.A. from the University of Alabama. Vanderbilt University.

Ryan Morley’s practice focuses on representing employers in complex and single-plaintiff litigation before state or federal courts. Morley has extensive litigation experience, including defending collective and individual actions under federal and state wage and hour laws. He also prosecutes and defends employers in cases involving alleged discrimination based on race, disability or harassment. He also provides supervision and management training. He received his J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and his B.A. From Miami University.

Ryan Eddings represents management on all aspects of labor law and employment law. This includes collective bargaining, arbitrations, harassment and discrimination and retaliation. Wage and hour issues. His practice focuses on advising clients on all aspects of employment relations. He regularly appears before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Department of Fair Employment and Housing. He received his J.D. Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He also earned his B.A. University of California, Berkeley
