NEW HAVEN (OH)–Wiggin and Dana announces the launch of their Cannabis Practice Group. The group is designed to provide a full-service experience in corporate, transactional and regulatory matters to players in the cannabis industry. The new group, which will be based in the Northeast of the United States and include at least a half-dozen attorneys, will secure the firm’s position in a rapidly growing industry. Jack H. Sousa will chair the Cannabis Practice Group. He is a partner of the Corporate Department of the firm and a member wiggin(x). The group will consist of at least half a dozen attorneys.

The Cannabis Practice Group is made up of attorneys from across the firm’s practice groups, including John Doroghazi, James Greifzu and Bob Langer, senior counsel. The group, leveraging its knowledge of the complex issues and regulatory barriers in the cannabis industry, will offer clients an array of services, including corporate transactions, dispute settlement and litigation, intellectual properties, labor and employment, licensing, real-estate, and regulatory compliance.
