NATIONAL – Wiggin Opportunity Initiative donates $3M to Minority-Owned Businesses and partners with Bloomberg L.P. to expand the scope of Initiative
Wiggin and Dana LLP, through its Wiggin Opportunity Initiative, has donated $1 million worth of free legal services in the United States to women- and minorityowned businesses. Wiggin & Dana launched WOI on July 2020 in response to the racial injustices and economic injustices that were brought about by the reckoning following George Floyd’s death. The firm committed to providing $10 million worth of free legal services by 2030 to women- and minority owned businesses to help them succeed, grow, and diversify their business leaders. The firm is already ahead of schedule, having provided over $3 million in legal services within its first three-year period.
