CHICAGO, IL–Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. We are pleased to announce that Will Trevena joined the firm as principal in its litigation practice area.
Will Trevena, a principal in our litigation practice group, has extensive experience representing clients involved in complex commercial litigation. He is also familiar with multidistrict litigation in federal courts and government investigations. His expertise includes the development of trial strategies, managing complex discovery, taking and defending depositions, developing expert witness testimony reports and testimony; preparing witnesses for deposition and trial; and responding government subpoenas. He is skilled in civil litigation, where financial and reputational exposures are substantial.
Will was a software engineer and consultant in telecommunications before he entered law school. Will has been in 18 countries on six continents. Will has an advantage in understanding the technology issues that frequently come up in legal cases and can use that knowledge to gain insight in all areas. This includes identifying issues in an opponent’s productions of documents in discovery to dissecting an opponent expert’s analysis. He can also reconstruct events from documents, and dig deep into the web to find useful material.
Will received his J.D. He received his J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago and his B.A. University of Birmingham, Edgbaston (U.K.) with honors in Medieval and Modern History.
